While launching the project, Fred Ejautene the project co-ordination says that the move is aimed at sensitizing communities on the dangers of deforestation, wetland degradation, and bush burning among other things which influence climate change.
He urges the general public to do positive actions that promote sustainable development while taking issues of climate change very seriously being one of the things that can hinder the attainment of sustainable development goals.
“We are urging the public to be mindful of the environment they live in and try to promote good agriculture without encroaching on the wetlands in order to limit the effects of climate change”. He said.
